Newtown, a suburb of Sydney’s inner west, is located approximately four kilometres south-west of the Sydney central matter district, straddling the local dispensation areas of the City of Sydney and Inner West Council in the come clean of New South Wales, Australia.

Newtown’s rugby league club competed in the NSWRFL Premiership from its launch in 1908 until 1983.
